We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey, providing guidance, and promoting a culture of recovery and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key worker to a caseload of service users, supporting them to set and achieve their recovery goals
- Provide regular contact, advice, information, and psycho-social interventions to support service users
- Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and implement individualized recovery plans
- Work closely with partner agencies to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support service users
Requirements
- Understanding of substance and alcohol use and the challenges and opportunities for individuals on a recovery journey
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work dynamically on a one-to-one and group basis
- Knowledge of relapse and other barriers to recovery
