Unlocking Breakthroughs in Biostatistics

Pfizer's mission is to deliver innovative solutions that transform patients' lives. As a key member of our Research and Development team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing cutting-edge statistical analysis and interpretation of nonclinical safety studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement statistically sound approaches for exploratory, regulatory, and investigative nonclinical safety studies.
  • Collaborate with scientists and toxicologists to provide effective statistical consultation and design input for in vivo and in vitro studies.
  • Design and develop automated statistical solutions to enhance the efficiency of study conduct and reporting.
  • Partner with data science and computational groups to identify optimal solutions to scientific problems.
  • Develop and deliver statistical training to scientists and promote statistical excellence across the organization.

Requirements:

  • M.S. in Statistics or Biostatistics with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an applied statistics setting, or Ph.D. in Statistics or a comparable quantitative field with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Programming experience in R (2+ years).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Strong knowledge in general linear models, experimental design, probability, categorical data analysis, and Bayesian analysis.
  • Experience analyzing high-dimensional data and familiarity with machine learning methods.
