Job Title: Head of Landscape Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Landscape Management to join our team at Ad Warrior. As a key member of our estate services department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance of the green infrastructure within our estates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive landscape improvement projects within budget.
  • Manage the landscape management department's budgets and ensure value for money, competitive purchasing, and accountability for expenditure.
  • Work to ensure the provision of an efficient and effective landscape management service.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure the goals of the landscape management department are transparent and understood.
  • Work proactively with the assistant director of estate services in the procurement of new landscaping business and project manage external contracts.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualifications in landscape maintenance and tree management.
  • PA1 and PA6 certification.
  • Ability to manage, supervise, and demonstrate a comprehensive herbicide programme, machinery and equipment maintenance programme, and vehicle management system.
  • Experience of managing staff within a land-based industry discipline.
  • Experience of identifying, addressing, and resolving staff issues.
  • Experience of successfully managing change in the workplace affecting staff members.
