About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of vehicles, working to strict specifications and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test vehicles to meet quality and performance standards
  • Work from written instructions with limited supervision
  • Use hand tools and measuring equipment with high accuracy
  • Liaise with test support, engineering, and quality functions
  • Ensure quality defects are mitigated through self-inspection
  • Work in a manufacturing setting with a focus on process improvement
  • Understand and adhere to health and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Assembly Technician, Armoured Vehicle Technician, or Mechanical Fitter
  • Ability to work from written instructions with limited supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
