Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to enhance our Commercial practice. This role presents a unique opportunity to establish and expand our Commercial services, supported by a robust national team. You will collaborate with an accomplished group of professionals, contributing to the growth of our department.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and provide counsel on a variety of commercial agreements, including but not limited to supply agreements, terms and conditions, distribution contracts, franchise agreements, and joint ventures.
- Address day-to-day commercial inquiries from a diverse client base.
- Assist General Counsel on critical business initiatives.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with internal management procedures.
- Engage in marketing initiatives to promote the department and firm.
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience in commercial law.
- Strong technical abilities and a creative approach to legal challenges.
- Proven track record of managing responsibilities and progressing matters independently.
- Client-focused with a commitment to service excellence.
- Demonstrated business development experience and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
