Due to business demands, our client is on the search for an experienced Payroll and HR Coordinator to join their dynamic team.

Job Summary:

As a Payroll and HR Coordinator, you will report to the HR Manager and be responsible for delivering the end-to-end payroll process for 300 staff and supporting the HR function. The role will involve ensuring compliance with UK payroll regulations and providing support to employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process the monthly payroll for 300 employees
  • Input payroll data into the payroll system (Sage 50)
  • Carry out payroll calculations, including overtime, maternity, paternity, and sick pay
  • Apply deductions, including court orders, national insurance, tax, and pension contributions
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments
  • Support the HR and Payroll Manager with day-to-day HR matters

Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years of payroll and HR administration experience
  • Proficient in payroll software systems, preferably Sage Line 50
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll laws and regulations
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Strong Word and Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently
