Job Title: Head of Informatics

Colorifix Ltd is seeking an experienced and inspiring leader to manage our talented team of software developers, data scientists, and engineers in building creative and flexible solutions that will significantly impact our business.

We're looking for a strong technical leader who can drive innovation and growth in our informatics division. As Head of Informatics, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team of experts in software engineering, data analysis, and IT.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of software developers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Anticipate and address the needs of the informatics group to maximize productivity.
  • Identify skill gaps and develop the team's capabilities through hiring, mentorship, training opportunities, and career development initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Experience leading a technical team in software engineering, data analysis, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience in product management and software development methodologies.
  • Expertise in at least three of the following areas: software engineering, data science, machine learning, embedded systems, electrical engineering, IT.
  • Understanding of software and product development methodologies and best practices.
  • Interest in many technical fields and an ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems and development in a Linux environment.
  • Experience with UX, system design, databases, and security best practices.
  • Understanding of Python and knowledge of common Python frameworks and libraries.
