HCI Systems Limited, a leading provider of high-quality electrical wiring solutions, is seeking a skilled Wiring Harness Assembly Technician to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:- Build high-quality wiring harnesses from detailed drawings, meeting tight deadlines.
- Prototype and assemble wiring harnesses for various applications, including Formula One and automotive industries.
- Coordinate with colleagues to ensure timely delivery of harnesses.
- Manage own time to achieve harness delivery targets.
- Liaise with internal departments and customers to integrate wiring harnesses into vehicles.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for future production builds.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar technical environment, preferably in motorsport, automotive, or defence.
- Apprenticeship time served and/or BTEC National Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Qualified to or ability to work towards IPC-A-620 and IPC-A-610.
- Experience with System 25 materials, Contra-helical lay ups, and Automated Crimping press tools.
- Ability to read drawings and create Bills of materials for Prototype and First builds.
- Customer and quality-focused attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
