Position Overview

We are seeking a Supply Chain and Procurement Coordinator for a reputable regional contracting firm.

Company Profile

This organization operates within the commercial contracting sector, managing projects ranging from £5 million to £30 million across various industries, including healthcare, education, residential care, retail, and hospitality, focusing on both new constructions and renovation projects.

Role Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to assist the delivery and commercial teams on-site, collaborating to implement optimal practices and systems for the procurement, supply, and delivery of materials and equipment. This is essential to maintain subcontractor productivity and ensure project timelines are upheld while securing competitive pricing and reliable service from suppliers.

Key duties include:

  • Regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
  • Daily communication with delivery and commercial teams to ensure their requirements are met.
  • Identifying critical pathway dates and anticipating future needs.
  • Aligning with the site master plan to ensure timely delivery of essential components.
Supplier Relationship Management

You will be tasked with establishing and nurturing relationships with key suppliers, ensuring high service standards and timely deliveries. This includes:

  • Proactively reaching out to various suppliers.
  • Conducting meetings with new suppliers and reviewing performance with existing partners.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package includes a competitive base salary of up to £60,000, along with a car allowance, pension contributions, and additional benefits.
