Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities while pursuing your studies will include:

1. Financial Assistance

a. Processing tasks such as sending invoices to supervisors for approval

b. Archiving email approvals onto the relevant systems

c. Dispatching coded invoices for payment

d. Following up with suppliers regarding invoices

2. Meeting and Event Coordination

a. Locating and reserving meeting spaces as necessary

3. Administrative Support

a. Preparing materials for meetings

b. Distributing communications

c. Monitoring a general inbox and responding to straightforward inquiries

You will collaborate with the Board Secretariat to assist the Greater Manchester Primary Care Board.

The Greater Manchester Primary Care Provider Board (PCB) integrates the four primary care disciplines: community pharmacy, dentistry, general practice, and optometry.

Established in 2015, our goal is to elevate quality across approximately 1,800 primary care providers in Greater Manchester, ultimately delivering improved outcomes for our communities.

As part of your role, you will be enrolled in a Level 3 Business and Administration Apprenticeship with an accredited provider, agreed upon with your line manager, following a successful three-month probationary period. This apprenticeship will enhance your skills within the organization. You will provide a variety of administrative support to the board secretariat and project team of the Greater Manchester Primary Care Board.

This position will be office-based, with an expectation of full-time attendance.

Applicants may choose to apply for a schedule of 4 or 5 days per week.
