Tax Risk Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Risk Specialist to join our team at Pro-Tax Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our Tax Risk team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients meet their tax compliance obligations and optimize their tax performance.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a strong background in tax risk management, with experience in tax process, strategy, and governance. You will be responsible for:
- Providing tax risk advice to clients across a range of industries, including fast growth entrepreneurial businesses and large FTSE 100 clients.
- Developing and implementing tax control frameworks to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborating with clients to identify and mitigate tax risks, and providing guidance on tax governance and risk management.
- Presenting to clients and stakeholders on tax risk management and governance best practices.
- Leading on projects and producing high-quality reports to support client needs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or law, and/or professional qualifications such as CTA or ACA.
- Experience in tax risk management, with a strong understanding of tax process, strategy, and governance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to host workshops, training sessions, and webinars.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead on projects and produce high-quality reports.
