Advanced Nurse Practitioner Role in Barking

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Barking. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating minor injuries and illnesses in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

You will work closely with our Lead ANP and GP team to provide high-quality patient care, prescribing medications and referring patients to other clinicians as needed. With a mix of face-to-face and telephone appointments, you will be able to utilize your clinical skills and experience to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess and diagnose minor injuries and illnesses in a primary care setting
  2. Prescribe medications and refer patients to other clinicians as needed
  3. Work closely with the Lead ANP and GP team to provide high-quality patient care
  4. Utilize clinical skills and experience to make a real difference in the lives of patients
  5. Participate in a mix of face-to-face and telephone appointments
Requirements
  1. NMC registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
  2. MSc Advanced Clinical Practice
  3. Independent Prescriber
  4. Experience within primary care
  5. Experience of treating minor ailments
  6. Right to work in the UK
Package and Benefits
  1. 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
  2. Band 7 salary (outer London) £49,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
  3. NHS Pension
  4. 6 weeks Annual Leave
  5. Ongoing support with CPD
