Position Overview: Optima Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and proactive Part-Time Facility Operations Supervisor to ensure that the clubhouse and its surrounding areas are maintained to the highest standards while overseeing staff during weekend events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the clubhouse and adjacent areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Open the facility for educational use during weekdays, ensuring accessibility and readiness.
- Perform routine upkeep tasks, including minor repairs, painting, and landscaping.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify and resolve maintenance concerns promptly.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling initiatives effectively.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of young staff members on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or related field.
- Basic understanding of maintenance and repair procedures.
- Physical capability to perform maintenance tasks and remain on foot for extended periods.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly rate: £12
- Work schedule: Saturdays 8 AM - 12 PM and Sundays 8 AM - 12 PM
- Onsite parking available.
- 2-3 hours of preparation on Saturday and Sunday mornings for weekend activities.
- 20 days of holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata).
- Stakeholder pension plan.
