Job Summary:

The Work Shop is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Services Practice, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and delivering holistic services in line with your specific team and role responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, forecast, and plan your workflow and support your peers, together with your reporting line.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and training in coordinating, forecasting, and planning their workflow.
  • Oversee training and offer support to less experienced members of the group.

Specific Duties:

  • Carry out annual reviews for clients within the portfolio to assess ongoing fees, services offerings required, year-end tax planning, and ongoing tax planning.
  • Control personal budgets, chargeable hours, and recoverability for the portfolio allocated to you.
  • Organize and monitor workflow to keep all members of staff working at their optimum while providing the required client service.
  • Motivate, mentor, and encourage all members of the team to ensure they are reaching their potential.
  • Report weekly detailed KPIs.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will ideally be ATT, CTE, or QBE Qualified or part qualified. Additionally, you must have the ability to create and maintain relationships with introducers, both internally or externally, therefore excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing are essential.

The role will involve hosting client meetings, therefore you will be required to demonstrate questioning techniques and an understanding of principles of fact-finding, both hard and soft fact gathering.
