Exciting Opportunity for a Finance Manager

Abacus Professional Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly successful, privately owned manufacturing business in Northern Ireland as they seek to appoint a Finance Manager. With significant growth plans ahead, this is an excellent opportunity for a talented finance professional to join a high-performing team and take ownership of critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial operations related to all productions and installations.
  • Manage VAT compliance and reporting for the UK and Ireland.
  • Handle payroll processes for the UK and Ireland.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
  • Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with RCT (Relevant Contracts Tax) and CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) regulations.
Essential Criteria:
  • Proven experience in construction finance.
  • In-depth knowledge of VAT regulations in the UK and Ireland.
  • Proficiency in managing payroll for the UK and Ireland.
  • Strong experience in preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
  • Expertise in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a finance team.
  • Familiarity with RCT and CIS regulations.
  • Cashflow forecasting and FX hedging.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience in European construction finance.
  • Knowledge of VAT regulations across Europe.
  • Experience in managing payroll across Europe.
