The Opportunity: Firmware and Test Development Engineer

We are seeking a talented Firmware and Test Development Engineer to join our state-of-the-art engineering facility in Herne Bay, Kent. You will be part of an international team working on diverse products that significantly impact global safety.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement test interfaces for new embedded projects.
  • Develop and execute automated and semi-automated testing using both off-the-shelf and custom test equipment.
  • Create and implement a robust unit test framework.
  • Specify, design, and develop firmware for innovative product development initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in standard lab test equipment.
  • Expertise in at least one of the following programming languages: C/C++/C#, Python, or LabVIEW.

Beneficial Skills (Training Provided):

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Experience using spectrum analyzers.
  • Familiarity with source code repositories like GIT.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
