About the Role:

Hays Accounts and Finance is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Posting journals for prepayments, accruals, and payroll
  • Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
  • Managing internal payroll and payment runs
  • Reconciling bank transactions
  • Performing other financial tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
