**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team at MWH Treatment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the Commercial Management of Projects, working closely with our Managing Quantity Surveyor and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Management: Oversee the commercial aspects of projects, including quantity surveying duties, cost management, and contract administration.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with design, construction, and supply chain teams to ensure business requirements are met, and collaborate with clients to deliver successful projects.
  • Contract Management: Manage the main contract, ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessary.
  • Subcontract Management: Prepare and issue subcontract documentation, assist in the management and performance of subcontractors, and manage the preparation and agreement of applications for payment.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare project cost and value reports, budgets, and forecasts, and assist in the management and development of training commercial staff.
  • Professional Development: Ensure continuous professional development by participating in external networking, conferences, associations, and groups to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback, and undertake such other duties, training, and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in quantity surveying and commercial management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in contract administration and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
