Audio Visual Design Consultant

Unified Support Ltd is seeking a skilled Audio Visual Design Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our technical design team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality CAD drawings, schematics, and plans for commercial AV installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Producing System Flow Schematics, AV Positional Layout Drawings, and Rack Layout Drawings
  • Creating full installation AV Schematics and As-Builts
  • Designing bespoke metal work
  • Assisting in the production of Cable and Components listings, including cable schedules
  • Specialist Drawings as required for custom production work
  • Tracking changes and developments in drawings & plans updating AV schematics
  • Uploading drawings to internal system for all users
  • BTO participant - Tracking all changes and updating drawing register within agreed timescales
  • Supporting on drawings for tender specifications and raising RFIs
  • Occasional site attendance will be required
  • Awareness of new products and actively suggesting improvements on specified equipment and design
Requirements:
  • 2 years audio visual experience
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of current AV systems, associated IT elements, and their installations
  • Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Self-motivated and highly professional with the ability to lead and take ownership and responsibility of system designs
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and to tight deadlines
  • A desire to learn and improve skills and knowledge
  • Fast learner, energetic, enthusiastic
  • Adaptable and flexible to business demands
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Team player
  • Clean driving licence
  • Good numeracy and written skills
  • Advanced PC skills

Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CAD, and Adobe is essential. CTS and CTS D certifications are also required. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for audio visual design, we encourage you to apply.
