Overview:


We are seeking a Lead Audio Visual Consultant to oversee the design and coordination of AV systems across diverse market sectors. The role involves providing AV design advice, managing projects from concept through to implementation, and ensuring adherence to industry standards. Strong project management and client engagement skills are essential.


Reporting to the Project Director, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining high technical standards throughout the design process and ensuring compliance with client needs. Additionally, the Lead Consultant will help strengthen client relationships and explore new business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the preparation of detailed AV designs, reports, specifications, budgets, and equipment schedules.
  • Translate AV and IT requirements into technical designs and produce relevant documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and regional standards in all designs.
  • Manage commissioning, testing, and snagging processes.
  • Present technical solutions to clients and design teams at presales stages and throughout the project.
  • Work on projects across the EMEA region, involving site visits, inspections, and meetings.
  • Provide clear and concise advice to clients and project teams, considering time, budget, and resources.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and integrate them into project designs as needed.


Required Skills & Attributes:


  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant AV design qualifications (e.g., Infocomm CTS-I / CTS-D).
  • Experience designing scalable AV systems for meeting rooms, auditoriums, conferencing, digital signage, and more.
  • Knowledge of physical design requirements such as power, cooling, and equipment layouts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work and team interactions.


Desirable:


  • Experience in the construction and technology industries.
  • AutoCAD skills.
  • Familiarity with online project management tools.
  • Experience presenting at client interviews and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
