About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join our team at Saga. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for assisting with general ledger accounting, business partnering, and the production and delivery of internal reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconciliation of all Saga Group bank accounts and associated G/L postings
  • Raising intercompany invoices and intercompany accounts reconciliation at month-end
  • Preparation of Balance sheet reconciliations and processing of timesheets for review
  • Uploading Click Travel invoices and processing credit card transactions
  • Maintenance of the Fixed asset register and cost centre management
  • Supplier spend analysis and adhoc projects as required
Requirements
  • Part Qualified Accountant (AAT, ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with a background in financial and management accounting and control
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and general ledger systems
  • Ability to work as part of a team and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Eye for detail and understanding of technically complex accounting issues
