Job Title: Billing Administrator

Join a dynamic and award-winning specialist patent firm with a global client base, ranging from SMEs to multinational blue-chip companies. As a Billing Administrator, you will be part of a vibrant and hard-working billing team of 4, working 3 days a week in their Chancery Lane office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for queries and requests, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Organize and distribute monthly billing workload, including preparation of WIP reports, amending WIP, drafting and finalizing bills, and assisting paralegals with billing queries.
  • Manage eBilled clients, including uploading LEDES files & bills, onboarding new ebilled clients, managing client invoices and client rates, invoice rejections, and queries.
  • Oversee compliance with internal billing procedures and ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Manage disbursements and produce reports to monitor WIP and billed fees.
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets.
Requirements:
  • Up to 2 years of legal finance experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to successfully liaise with senior colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation.
