Training and Development Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Implementation Support Specialist to join our team at NHS National Services Scotland. As a key member of our Digital Training Department, you will play a critical role in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to support the implementation of new computer systems within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver training programs to meet the needs of our staff, including user guides and procedures to support the implementation of new systems.
- Coordinate and run IT training programs for staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively use new systems.
- Liaise with users of our applications to assess their training requirements and provide support during and after the implementation process.
- Maintain and produce summary information about training delivered, including metrics and evaluation reports.
- Education to HNC level, preferably in a computing-related subject, and a formal training qualification, such as IITT accreditation.
- Proven ability to effectively design and deliver training and development packages, working to tight deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Car driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA license.
This is a fixed-term contract until December 2025. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
