Business Administrator Role

As a key member of the Home Management team and Swallowcourt's Leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, managing HR and finance functions, and supporting the development of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enquiry Management: Respond to and resolve enquiries from prospective clients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resident Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Financial Administration: Administer resident money in accordance with company policy, including the issuance of monthly statements and petty cash management.
  • Banking and Cash Handling: Undertake banking tasks, including paying in and withdrawing resident monies, paying in cheques for fees, and cashing petty cash cheques.
  • Support to Ancillary Heads of Department: Collaborate with the Home Manager to provide budget awareness, budget management, and stock control support to Ancillary Heads of Department.
  • Debt Management: Support the Home Manager with debt queries as they arise, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Payroll and Rota Management: Prepare payroll information for all staff in the home and support with the preparation of the weekly rota, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Annual Leave Management: Assist with the management of Annual Leave requests, providing weekly and monthly summaries of usage for the Manager to allocate any unused leave when appropriate.
  • Shift Filling and Support: Assist the Management of the home in filling vacant shifts and provide support as required.
