About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Anaesthesia Consultant to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As a key member of our anaesthetic team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our paediatric anaesthesia services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide anaesthetic services to children and adolescents in our paediatric anaesthesia department
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our paediatric anaesthesia services
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in teaching and training of junior medical staff
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies
Requirements
  • FRCA or equivalent qualification
  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice
  • Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT, proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview
  • Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment and hold a current license to practice
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Is up to date and fit to practise safely
  • All applicants to have demonstrable skills in written & spoken English adequate to enable effective communication about medical topics with patients & colleagues demonstrated by one of the following
