Job Description:

Job Title: Application Support Analyst

Job Summary:

Leonardo is seeking a highly skilled Application Support Analyst to join our team. As an Application Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain a stack of business-critical applications, including COTS products and internally developed solutions.
  • Ensure that services run seamlessly, enabling users to perform their daily tasks.
  • React to incidents and service requests in a timely manner, adhering to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Diagnose and resolve issues as soon as possible, working collaboratively with the Application Support team.
  • Recommend process changes, improved monitoring, user training, or formal changes to code or configuration to prevent repeat occurrences.
  • Support other team members during holidays to ensure service continuity.
  • Travel to one of our sites (Edinburgh, Luton, or Basildon) as required.
Key Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to respond to user calls, emails, or face-to-face enquiries.
  • Empathy with users, patience, and understanding.
  • Acceptance of ownership and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Investigation and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work systematically and remain focused under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Desirable Skills:
  • Previous experience with Siemens Teamcenter Unified, MS Office (especially MS Excel), SQL, Visual Basic, Primavera P6, Java, or FlexLM.
