Job Purpose:
As a key member of the Llamau Ltd team, the successful candidate will work closely with children and parents accessing refuge to provide a safe and supportive service.
The role involves building trusting relationships with children and parents, ensuring their needs are met, and addressing the impact of abuse on young people.
The successful candidate will work with children to ensure they feel safe and supported, exploring healthy relationships and providing age-appropriate activities, child house meetings, and group work.
Engagement activities will be designed to promote positive experiences of refuge, including opportunities to explore local amenities, attend local events, and participate in creative activities with other families.
The role requires the successful candidate to maintain a safe and clean environment, recording and reporting all work and incidents in accordance with Llamau Ltd's procedures.
Lone working is a requirement of the role, and the successful candidate will need to follow procedures, take initiative, and demonstrate self-motivation.
On-Call Support: The successful candidate will be part of the first-tier on-call rota, providing telephone and in-person support to colleagues, including shift cover and out-of-hours project attendance when necessary.
