Responsibilities- Lead the design team, passing on experience and expertise and leading by example.
- Estimate tasks and ensure the team delivers high-quality design work to schedule.
- Create and maintain clear and concise design feature documentation.
- Perform design reviews with the team to ensure quality.
- Mentor and conduct regular one-to-ones with project design team members.
- Work with programmers, artists, and other personnel involved in the development process to create the highest possible quality product.
- Experience working as a Lead Designer on AAA 3D Action console games.
- Experience with Level, Player Character, Enemy design, and all aspects of 3D Action game design.
- Experience of designing First and/or Third Person shooters.
- Shipped at least two games.
- Able to take ownership and drive forward all design aspects.
- Highly proficient in using Unreal 5.
- Solid understanding of all disciplines.
- Able to communicate effectively with clients and maintain a strong relationship with them.
