About the Role

We are seeking a talented Assistant Designer to join our dynamic team at Next. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for researching the latest trends and communicating this information to your team and senior managers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze the latest trends relevant to various customer profiles
  • Communicate trend information to your team and senior managers
  • Produce creative designs that tastefully represent and reflect the latest trends into the Next customer base
  • Brief suppliers and build great relationships
  • Work closely with the Designer & Buyer to support the whole design process from planning new ranges through to product selection

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience working within a UK brand or high street retailer. A great taste level and a real passion for the latest trends and how to translate these to your designs are essential. You should be enthusiastic, have a team player attitude, and be proficient in creating designs and tech packs using Adobe Creative Suite.
