We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Social Worker to join our team at Tameside Council. As a key member of our Community Mental Health Teams, you will play a vital role in providing social care to individuals with moderate to severe mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and complete funding applications, COPDOLs, and 21a challenges as required.
- Work with children transitioning from children's services with mental health needs.
- Support the council's obligations under the Care Act.
- Provide mental health support to residents of Tameside.
- Qualified Social Worker with experience in adult social care and mental health practice.
- Current driving license or supported driver with use of vehicle.
