Product Manager - FinTech

Fraser Carver Executive Search Ltd is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to join our client, a reputable financial technology company based on the outskirts of Oxford. As a key member of the Product & UX team, you will be responsible for driving the development of a suite of products and features from concept to delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a feature roadmap in collaboration with the Product team, ensuring alignment with key metrics of success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data, UX, and Research, to gain insights on problems to solve and add value.
  • Work with various stakeholders, including engineering, commercial, operations, finance, legal, and security, to build out solutions, propositions, and pricing strategies.
  • Seek out areas of opportunity with partners and work with commercial on contracts.
  • Manage ambitious standards across the team, ensuring an excellent user experience and continuous growth.
  • Active in understanding the P&L of your product and its financial impact on the organization.

Requirements:

  • Ability to walk in the customer's shoes, empathize, and understand their 'jobs to be done.'
  • Proactive in finding problems worth solving, facilitating decision-making processes, and making recommendations based on data insights.
  • A strong communicator, able to adapt your style to your audience and actively listen.
  • Pragmatic in making value-based prioritization calls and managing competing priorities.
  • Understanding and practical experience of Product Management Frameworks, User-centred design, and Agile Delivery methodologies.
  • Assertive, yet diplomatic, with a focus on action, collaboration, and optimism.
  • Empathetic, able to use humility to build the best for the organization.
  • Ready to roll up your sleeves and get 'stuck in' when needed.

Work Arrangement:

  • You will be required to be in the offices one day per week, just outside of Oxford, so you must be within commutable distance to be considered for this role.
