We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Support Worker to join our team in Burton Upon Trent. As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults who are at risk of homelessness, providing them with the necessary assistance to maintain their tenancies and achieve independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support service users with their tenancies, including providing guidance on budgeting and managing finances.
- Assist service users with daily living tasks, such as cooking and cleaning, to promote independence.
- Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive support network.
- Collaborate with other agencies and services to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting service users.
- Record and maintain accurate records of service user progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Experience working with vulnerable adults, particularly those at risk of homelessness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
