Key Responsibilities- Operate the fuel point and CET plant to deliver high-quality performance and maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
- Carry out overnight servicing on a variety of customer trains, including replenishment of coolants, oils, fuels, sanding systems, and screenwash.
- Fuelling of traction units, filling toilet water tanks, filling wholesome water tanks, and topping up of any other on-train systems.
- Carry out activities to documented Vehicle Maintenance Instructions.
- Cover for the Operations Controller as and when required.
- Solid understanding of relevant health and safety and environmental standards.
- Ability to problem-solve and work part of a team.
- Previous experience in and understanding of rail vehicle maintenance activities.
- NVQ Level 2 in Engineering is desirable.
