About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Designer to join our team at Echo House Ltd. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring design concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with project managers, artworking, and design managers to modify existing work and processes to increase efficiency and improve performance.
  • Oversee prototyping and manage production of live projects, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage allocated design projects from CAD build to realisation, communicating closely with the assistant studio manager design lead and the artworking and design manager.
  • Produce technical drawings from buildable CAD models and successfully communicate technical designs through presentation to both Project Managers, clients, and the wider team.
Requirements
  • Excellent Solidworks, CAD, Fusion 360, Adobe Creative suite knowledge.
  • Knowledge of 3D print, rendering in Cinema 4D or Keyshot (desirable).
  • Excellent tool and machining knowledge.
  • Excellent electrical and electronics knowledge (desirable).
  • Excellent understanding in deciphering technical packs submitted from external sources.
  • Excellent Health and Safety knowledge.
  • Knowledge of media with an emphasis on sustainability.
