Job Title: Locum Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a special interest in Neurodevelopmental Conditions and will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.

About the Role

The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adolescents with mental health conditions. They will also be responsible for leading and developing the Neurodevelopmental Service, working closely with other teams and services to ensure seamless care pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
  • Lead and develop the Neurodevelopmental Service, working closely with other teams and services.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless care pathways.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
  • Supervise and support junior staff.
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Registration with the GMC.
  • Experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Special interest in Neurodevelopmental Conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
