Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in Adolescent Community Treatment Service
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Adolescent Community Treatment Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to young people with complex mental health needs.
About the Role
As a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing psychiatric assessments, including risk assessments, for young people referred to and under the care of the service.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with young people, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Working closely with the inpatient and bed management teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Providing leadership and supervision to junior doctors and other team members.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of clinical policies and guidelines.
