About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to join our team in the Same Day Emergency Care and Rapid Access Unit at the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients with haematological and oncological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Take ownership of your professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest clinical updates and research.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and treatment in line with Trust policies and NMC guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to promote a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.
  • Respond promptly to patient concerns and issues, utilizing complaints procedures and PALs as necessary.
