United Learning is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Examinations Officer & Data Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our examinations process.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with JCQ regulations and produce written policies/processes as required.
- Administer the Academies Examinations policy and maintain accurate records.
- Recruit, induct, and train Exam Invigilators, and organize their deployment.
- Collate information from subject leaders, construct examination timetables, and organize exam rooms, seating plans, and paper distribution.
- Be on call during examinations to ensure proper conduct and address any issues that arise.
- Ensure all candidates are registered on the correct course by the specified deadline and submit unit entries where required.
- Enter unit results, process certification claims, and communicate with Exam Boards and subject leaders as needed.
- Provide detailed data on estimated entries, supervise coursework completion and despatch, and arrange for external examiners to conduct speaking tests if required.
- Collate information to produce a composite examination timetable for students and ensure the submission of entries to relevant Boards via A2C.
- Sort out clashes, communicate entry and seating arrangements to students, and apply for access arrangements in liaison with the SEN Co-ordinator.
- Arrange for examination stationery and be in attendance at the beginning and end of all examinations to ensure entry and exit of students is in line with examination board regulations.
- Report any occurrences of actual or suspected malpractice to the Vice Principal and gather relevant reports and evidence.
- Deal with enquiries from former students about results, organize information and reports for parental consultation evenings, and undertake any other duties as specified by the Principal and Senior Leadership Team.
- Assist the Data and Examinations Manager with providing staff cover for the Academy, assist with data entry, coordinate results input from subject leads, and input data from internal tests as directed.
- Undertake regular safeguarding training, ensure statutory and Ofsted requirements for Safeguarding are met, and promote the safeguarding of young people.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
