Key Responsibilities- Work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to patients with acquired and progressive neurological conditions.
- Support patient self-management, education, and support of carers, wider health, social care, and voluntary services involved in patient care.
- Manage your own time and work under the supervision of Occupational and Physiotherapists to provide a high-quality and efficient service.
- Undertake assessment of stroke and neurological patients with complex needs and participate in clinical treatments and rehabilitation programmes.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date documentation.
- Good general education including English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent.
- NVQ level 3 or a BTEC national diploma appropriate to the area or equivalent relevant qualification such as sports science or health-related degree.
- Experience of team working, working with elderly, injured/disabled people, and managing a separate caseload.
- Experience of working in the NHS/healthcare setting.
- Experience as a Technical Instructor/Rehabilitation Technician working in health or a similar post.
- Evidence of recent study, such as Anatomy and Physiology ITEC, Access Therapy Courses.
- Completion of stroke and neurology competencies.
