About the Role

We are working with a company that provides automation services to various industries, including food, automotive, packaging, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and commission automation systems, including electrical, mechanical, and software components.
  2. Develop and implement process improvements, upgrading and replacing older control systems as needed.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver automation solutions.
  4. Travel to sites, including international locations, to support commissioning and maintenance.
  5. Proficient in software development for PLCs, HMIs, and integrated drive systems.
  6. Familiarity with industry-standard software, including Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, and Mitsubishi GX & GT Works.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in fault finding and commissioning electrical systems, with knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems a plus.
  2. Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD or EPlan or SEE Electrical for electrical control system design.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality automation solutions.
  4. Local to the West Yorkshire and Manchester areas, with a willingness to travel.
