Job Summary:

The Role:

As a Backend Software Engineer at Wakapi, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance software solutions using.NET, Angular, and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all software life cycle phases, from requirements analysis and documentation to design, implementation, unit and integration testing, and quality assurance.
  • Understand client requirements, analyze, implement new enhancements, and fix bugs.
  • Write clean code that provides maintainability, scalability, readability, and testability.
  • Write documentation, such as user guides, technical documentation, and design documents.
  • Participate in the elaboration of the architecture.
  • Develop and maintain servers.
  • Mentor newcomers and juniors joining the team.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as product management, QA, and DevOps, to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • 3+ years of experience using.NET technologies with an emphasis on C#.
  • 1+ year of experience using Angular.
  • Database skills using MS SQL Server (NoSQL experience is a plus).
  • Delivery-oriented and multitasking person.
  • Excellent analysis, technical design, development, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
  • Cloud experience.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
