Job Title: Behaviour Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers and students who exhibit behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support or small group interventions for students with behavioural challenges.
  • Assist students in managing their behaviour through positive reinforcement and clear boundaries.
  • Build trusting relationships with students to help them feel supported and understood.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Encourage social interaction and help students develop their social and emotional skills.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Preferably have experience working with children or young people, either in a school or similar setting.
  • Be patient, empathetic, and resilient with a passion for supporting vulnerable students.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Work effectively as part of a team but also independently when needed.
  • Be able to make a positive contribution to the ethos of our school.
