Financial Controller - Manufacturing Location: Central Belt - Scotland

Elevation Recruitment Group is currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join a leading manufacturing organisation based in the Central Belt of Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to work closely with senior management to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective financial controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data
  • Lead the finance team in the preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with senior management to formulate and implement financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Manage and maintain accounting processes and records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical accounting support and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership and external auditors
Requirements:
  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in a senior finance role
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Commercial and operational decision support skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems
  • Experience of managing and leading teams
