Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our team. As a key member of our residential process team, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of the residential process on behalf of our clients, mortgage lenders, who have repossessed residential properties due to mortgage arrears or another breach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Residential Process Management: Manage all aspects of the residential process, including dealing with mortgage lenders, preparing memos of sales, and ordering management packs.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare, review, and issue sales contracts and supporting documents.
  • Client Communication: Answer client queries, provide status advice, and keep all parties informed on progress of sale.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with asset managers to ensure a smooth transaction.
  • Exchange and Completion: Deal with exchange of contracts in a timely manner and support with post-sales matters.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience within a paralegal role covering Conveyancing.
  • Education: Minimum of 5 GCSE's including a minimum C grade in English and Maths, and a Law degree or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and sound knowledge of law and legal systems.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, including experience with electronic document management and filing systems.
  • Discretion: High level of discretion with confidential matters.
