About the Role

MSF UK is seeking a highly skilled Anaesthetist to join our team. As an Anaesthetist with MSF UK, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing medical care to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anaesthesia services to patients in MSF UK's healthcare facilities
  • Train and mentor local healthcare staff in anaesthesia techniques and procedures
  • Develop and implement anaesthesia management plans to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

  • Proven experience in anaesthetics, with a strong background in paediatric and obstetric anaesthesia
  • Full GMC or Irish Medical Council registration
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with limited resources
  • Minimum of three months' work experience in low- and middle-income countries
  • Fluency in English

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in teaching and training healthcare staff
  • Ability to work in unstable environments
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a team environment

Language Requirements

We are currently looking for Anaesthetists with good French or Arabic skills. If you can speak French or Arabic, you are more likely to be accepted onto our register.
