Compensation: £45,000-£50,000

- Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive communications strategy.
- Collaborate with the Senior Communications Manager to craft messaging for public relations and assist in corporate announcements.
- Facilitate the development and dissemination of press releases and public statements.
- Effectively manage inquiries from business and retail media regarding company performance.
- Assist in the oversight of the Group's Communications Calendar and proactively identify opportunities for the executive team.
- Work in partnership with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless information flow throughout the organization.
- Formulate communication strategies in conjunction with external corporate PR consultants.
- Supervise and mentor two junior team members.
- Track and analyze social, economic, and political trends.
Candidate Profile:
- At least 4 years of experience in Public Relations and Communications.
- Experience in a large retail organization is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with supporting a business's financial outcomes is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with a strong command of written English and meticulous attention to detail.
- Comprehensive understanding of PR channels, including print and broadcast media.
- Excellent organizational abilities, time management skills, and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated knowledge of retail, corporate branding, and communication practices.
- A well-established network of journalists and industry contacts.
