Ward Responsibilities
Our ward specializes in the care of both elective and emergency patients across various specialties, including Plastics, ENT, Maxillofacial, and Urology. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.
Key Duties
- Provide exceptional nursing care to elective surgical patients.
- Support the Ward Manager in overseeing the operational aspects of the ward.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin number.
- Evidence of post-qualification professional development.
- Relevant post-registration experience in applicable specialties.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to work independently.
Desirable:
- Assessor or mentor qualification.
- Experience in change management and clinical audit.
Skills Required
Essential:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Current knowledge of professional issues and clinical governance.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Able to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Desirable:
- Experience in leading change initiatives.
- Understanding of clinical audit processes.
