We are currently seeking a seasoned Legal Advisor to join our diverse international team, focusing primarily on our operations in the EMEA region, particularly within the UK. This role will be based in one of our key UK offices, offering a hybrid working arrangement.

The Legal Advisor will be responsible for providing guidance on all legal and regulatory issues affecting Insight, collaborating with various business functions to ensure adherence to our obligations. Our legal team is well-regarded for delivering insightful legal counsel on matters of strategic, financial, and reputational significance to the organization, all while maintaining a strong commercial perspective. The Legal Advisor is expected to enhance the existing team, contributing to Insight's overarching strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer legal guidance and support across all sectors of Insight's business within the UK and the broader EMEA region.
  • Provide timely and high-quality legal advice in a practical and commercially oriented manner.
  • Advise internal stakeholders, including Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Services, as well as senior management, on legal matters, risks, company policies, compliance with regulations, and contractual agreements.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, and deliver training on these topics to the wider Insight team.
  • Proactively identify legal and regulatory changes and prepare the business to comply with and leverage such changes for commercial benefit.
  • Collaborate with our Data Protection Office to provide legal support concerning data protection regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive experience as a Legal Advisor, with a focus on international matters.
  • Strong background in commercial contracting, particularly in the IT and technology sectors. Experience in managed services and outsourcing contracts is highly desirable.
  • In-house experience with a large-scale or global organization, or relevant private practice experience with a reputable law firm.
  • Appropriate professional legal qualifications.
  • Experience in Data Protection, Compliance, Litigation, and/or Employment Law is strongly preferred, along with proficiency in additional languages beyond English.
