About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Sutton Hall. As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our pub, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of staff to achieve high standards of customer service and sales performance.
  • Assist the Pub Manager in the day-to-day running of the pub, including managing budgets, staff rotas, and inventory.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety, and food safety.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or similar role in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, staff rotas, and inventory.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
