Job Title: Education Lawyer - SEN Specialist

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Remote (with occasional travel)

About the Role:

  • Provide expert legal services to public sector clients, ensuring the best interests of SEN and education clients are protected.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within relevant legal practice areas, ensuring compliance with legal duties.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, providing seamless and client-focused service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality legal services, ensuring awareness of legal developments and best practices.

About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEx with at least 2 years PQE, preferably in a Local Authority or public body.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN and education-related law, with experience in advocacy and government law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
